JUST MY OPINION

 

Thanks for visiting the Just My Opinion website.

The sharing of my opinion is something that has become important to me over recent years.  People's hatred and mistrust, which has become more noticeable since the turn of the century, and even more so in the past ten years, has caused me sadness along with significant levels of frustration and annoyance.

​

Whether it is racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia or discrimination based upon gender, sexuality, age, body shape - or anything else, I find the bigotry pouring out from social media accounts and on the streets to be truly disturbing.

​

However, the opinions I share will not be solely limited to my views on fighting bigotry, much as I think this is important.

​

I also expect to share my opinions on stories in the news, the actions of people in the public eye, politics, health – anything actually.

​

It is worth repeating the fact that the views I express are really Just My Opinion.  They are not more important than anyone else's opinion.

​

I would welcome challenges to the views I express, as long as they are communicated in a respectful manner.  I do not like it when views are expressed in an extremist manner or when people find it necessary to use insults and expletives as part of their argument.

​
