"I will make it my mission to work night and day, flat out to prove you right in voting for me"

You might remember the words above. They were spoken with some passion by the Prime Minister as he spoke following his election victory. It wasn't long ago; it was just yesterday.
And yet today, he isn't in Downing Street working "flat out" and is instead gloating about his historic win in the former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair's Sedgefield constituency.
This wasn't him working 'night and day, flat out'.
We shouldn't be surprised of course. He has been a serial liar for as long as he's been famous enough for people to document it. He lied throughout the referendum campaign and then, with that having served him so well, lied through the election campaign too.
He is a narcissist and seems to believe he has the right to lie, constantly, to the electorate and behave howsoever he wishes.
He is Trump's 'Mini-Me' and seems to want to emulate the American President's ugly behaviour.
Sadly, we would appear to be stuck with him for the next five years.
