Farage Joins The NIMBY Battle; The Nauseating Xenophobe Visits Barton Stacey

19/12/2020

The hate filled facist Nigel Farage paid a visit to a village near me as part of his ongoing campaign against migrants.

Farage is an odious narcissistic bigot, who stirs up hatred at every opportunity.

The issue being covered here is related to plans to build a camp for migrants on disused MoD land, just off the A303. It seems that Farage is eager to criticise at every opportunity, but is clearly unable to articulate an alternative plan. When the migrants are housed in tired hotels that might not be able to attract much in the way of normal custom, Farage claims that they are luxury hotels. My checks into the hotels in question show a 'rack rate' of £30-£40 per night for a one night stay; hardly the price of luxury.

If the home office are buying up lots of rooms and for extended stays, they are very likely to have negotiated better rates than those which are offered as standard to everyone.

In any event, when asylum seekers are housed in hotels, Farage complains about them being given such luxury. Then, when the plans are to house them in huts on a disused army camp, he complains about them not having anything to do!

Farage doesn't care about Barton Stacey, or any of the other places he visited. He just wants to stir up more anti-immigrant hatred.

Even at this time of year, when Christians celebrate the birth and life of an immigrant, Farage doesn't miss an opportunity to espouse hatred for immigrants; whilst praising villagers for a 10th Century Church. Rather strange?

As an aside, it appears that Farage has no interest in protecting the welfare of those he works with. Sat in the back of the car, talking to camera, whilst driven down the A303 towards Barton Stacey, Farage was smoking a cigarette.

I'm assuming (and I do know that assumption is dangerous) that the driver of what appeared to be his luxury saloon is an employee. If that is the case, then it is very likely that Farage was committing a criminal offence by smoking a cigarette. Not only that, but he is showing a typical disregard for the welfare of those around him.

It may be childish, but I would be delighted if Farage was prosecuted for his breach of the Health Act.

This means that Farage, sat in the back of his chauffeur driven car, was almost definitely breaking the law. Even if the driver were an unpaid friend or family member, the fact that the journey was clearly undertaken by more than one person, conducted in concert in the process of carrying out Farage's 'political' activity, this was 'company travel'.

Asylum seekers need to be housed somewhere whilst their cases are assessed and we should be humane about how we do this, especially as we move into ever colder weather, especially during a pandemic and especially during the 'season of goodwill'.
