It seems that America's worst ever president has a very short memory, as well as a knack for saying repulsive things and lying at every opportunity.
The orangutan president has attacked the doctors who have been treating coronavirus patients on the frontline of the pandemic. He seem to have dismissed from his thoughts the fact that these medical professionals are who he, and over 9,000,000 other Americans who have contracted COVID-19, owe a debt of gratitude to for the care they received.
However, President Chump told an audience at a campaign rally in Waterford Township, Michigan: "Our doctors get more money if someone dies from Covid. You know that, right? I mean, our doctors are very smart people."
This is truly a disgusting thing for the moronic imbecile to say. He was, very deliberately, implying that doctors are falsifying records for financial gain. He is also suggesting that these people, who are risking their lives on the front line in the battle against the pandemic, do not have their patients welfare as their prime concern.
He really is a loathsome, abhorrent individual.
Trump continued to claim that COVID should not be recorded as the cause of death, when a patient had co-morbidities. He cited examples such as people who had suffered heart attacks, or had cancer.
There are others who have tried to dismiss the death toll due to COVID, saying that many of them would have died anyway. This really is a 'straw man' argument.
The one thing that is truly guaranteed after we are born, is that we will die. Every single one of us will die. None of the people who have died having contracted COVID lived longer than they would have if they hadn't caught the virus. They all died sooner that would have been expected.
If you actually 'buy into' Trump's argument here, you might also start suggesting that people who die in car accidents should not have their cause of death recorded as relating to the crash, if they happen to have a serious pre-existing illness.
It is a stupid argument.
