Perhaps the answer to such disturbing xenophobia, is education. Mandatory education.
Anyone found to be spouting such bigoted hatred, anywhere, should be forced to attend (and pay for) lessons / lectures / meetings to help them overcome their ignorance.
This should apply to all extremism; whether it’s:
discrimination against members of the LGBT community;
extremist preaching by Islamic fundamentalists;
similar activity by other religious groups, including Christians, Hindus and those of the Jewish faith;
the activities of groups such as Britain First, the EDL and other similar ‘patriotic’ hate groups;
racism, in all forms; and
xenophobic aggression pointed in the direction of immigrants, whether they are refugees from oppressed countries or economic migrants looking to improve their lives (and contribute to their chosen destination country).
All hate is wrong.
We are more alike, than different!
