I know, even before I start writing this, that some white people are going to react by suggesting they've led a hard life; that they have never enjoyed privilege.
I'm pretty sure that if I did a fist bump with one of my brothers, at any place in the UK, in front of police officers, nothing would happen. The officers would not instantly assume that we were drug dealers.
Racial profiling is not acceptable.
It is time that police forces across the nation were forced to address the issue.
Change is necessary.
Black Lives Matter. Not just in America, where racial profiling too frequently leads to a loss of life, but everywhere.
It's time for change.
